Start by entering the approximate hours on your various components below. Keep in mind, we will scan and backup everything, even if you choose not to have us transcribe. Learn more and see how you can get us your logs.

We use your Total Time on your Airframe (TTAF) and times since major overhaul (TSMOH) on your engine(s) and propeller(s) to generate your custom quote. For example, if you enter in 1,000 hours TTAF, we will scan and backup all of your airframe logbook(s) regardless of how much you wish for us to transcribe (To learn more about transcription please click on "Range of hours to transcribe" after you close this popup.). We also will scan all important documents you send us that are not part of your actual logbooks, including FAA Form 337s, 8130s, yellow tags, STCs, and more.

If you tell us you have 1,000 hours on your airframe but you actually have 1,150, don't worry we will scan and back up all 1,150. However, if you tell us you have 1,000 hours and you actually have 1,500, we may call you to confirm if you would like for us to do the extra scanning work (which may incur additional charges).

Getting us your logs

You have three options to get your logbooks to us:

Ship them to us (this is a preferred method because then we can ensure a thorough and high quality scan). Please tell us before you ship so we can keep an eye on the tracking number.

Range of hours to transcribe: (?)

We will professionally transcribe (hand type) your maintenance records based on the number of hours you want us to handle. We can transcribe as much or as little as you like. When we say hours, we mean hours in service for the component in question. Keep in mind, we will still scan and back up everything!

For example, if your airframe has a total time (TTAF) of 5,000 hours, you may want us to only transcribe the most recent 1,000 hours. Many people do this because they feel those recent hours are more relevant than their older hours.

However, some people prefer for us to do the oldest 1,000 hours because they want a jumpstart on the transcribing and plan to do the rest on their own using our Web Portal. This allows the user to learn a lot about his or her airplane!

Why do we ask for TSMOH or TSN? When transcribing your Propeller(s) or Engine(s), we find that the information preceeding your most recent overhaul or new/rebuilt engine to be irrelevant, or at least not worth transcribing. If you want us to scan the old logbooks before major overhaul or new (assuming you still have them as many manufacturers require you send them in!) we will do so. TSMOH = Time Since Major Overhaul and TSN = Time Since New.

For example, this figure demonstrates a logbook with 2500 total hours of records (all of which will be scanned and backed up), of which the most recent 1500 hours will be transcribed:

Maintenance Entries per Year for Us to Transcribe (?)

Maintenance entries are defined as having a description of the work performed, a date of completion, the name of the person performing the work, and the signature to certify the work. An Annual for a single engine plane, for example, will usually consist of at least 3 maintenance entries (one for the airframe, one for the engine, and one for the propeller), and an Annual for a multi-engine plane will usually consist of at least 5 entries.
